Welcome to the Royal Military Tattoo on the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade! This is an event that takes place almost every night each August and the 2023 theme was Stories, so I was invited along to the best seat in the house after a pre-show meal with sponsors at Innis & Gunn on Lothian Road. The Tattoo isn't just the Pipes & Drums, but a display of military bands from around the world.
