It's the operating cost increases and over capacity that have forced fare discounting in the luxury segment that's pressurizing Seabourn (and Silversea). It's a tough business right now, and that's not something that cruise customers always see.

2017年5月22日 · While Seabourn is the cruise line that I prefer, Viking Oceans is a good product. I would actually choose Viking over Seabourn for a cold or cool weather itinerary thanks to their covered pool area, cozy space around the fireplace and their fantastic spa pool and relaxation area (which unlike the Retreat on Seabourn, is open to all passengers).

2024年11月29日 · For context, I’ve sailed most of the luxury lines - Silversea, Regent, Ritz Carlton, Seabourn. For a number of reasons, we’ve sailed Seabourn proportionately more - at least 10 times. We have been Seabourn loyalists based on the quality and frankly consistency of the product. All of our trips have been on the Odyssey/Encore class ships.

The day before embarkation you will get your boarding passes with seat assignments at the hotel; Seabourn checks you in for the charter flight to Ushuaia. The day of embarkation, passengers are divided into 2 groups and take busses to the airport (AEP), for the charter flight to Ushuaia.

2024年10月2日 · Nothing like that on Seabourn. Now we have the 100 day benefit of free same day laundry whereas Seabourn is next day or later… In April, 2025 we try the newish Nova. Very excited to experience its impressive new design concepts! Regent offers sparkling new ships exemplified by the Splendor and also a set of old ships.

If using Flight Ease to book a flight yourself with extra pre- or post-cruise hotel nights it is necessary to call Seabourn and make sure they know to add in those extra nights in the hotel program. In fact, I'd recommend calling Seabourn (or travel agent) no matter what after self-booking flights in Flight Ease.

2019年4月20日 · Two things bother me about The Retreat: 1. I have appreciated that Seabourn offers an "all inclusive" voyage. Charging extra for The Retreat significantly changes this idea. 2. I've toured The Retreat--and while I found the hot tubs attractive, I was dismayed that there was no view out to sea.
