2012年2月2日 · They are good amps but what i don´t like is that the OD channels has too little gain in the green mode and too much in the orange and red modes. And if you have to turn the gain down too much the sound gets thinner. Also the JVM 205/210H only has the OD2 channel on the JVM 410 wich is more mid scooped and sounds thinner with less bottom than OD 1.

2022年2月15日 · The PXL Pro doesn’t have MIDI control. It has 4 open/close contacts. The PXL Live has a MIDI interface. If I remember correctly the JVM foot switch interface is unique in that the amp senses the resistance or voltage level, not just open/close connections.

2012年6月29日 · i suggest modding the JVM. You can mod the JVM's power section to break up by doing The Negative Feedback Mod. And with say Crunch Orange with the Negative Feedback turned down you can get that old school raw crunch.. Afterall, the JVM is a series of JCM800 2203/2204's but with a stiff Power Amp (to keep it tight for the high gain modes).

2010年4月23日 · The JVM should trump Metallica in OD orange mode with gain around 4-5, even with moderate-output pickups. BLS gain can be achieved easily in the red mode. If your V1 and V2 are in good shape and all other points on the amp are fine, take a close listen to the music you want to emulate, too much gain = no dynamic response and no punch.
