2016年4月16日 · The shaded areas are all addons to the original Cary Village Mall. An exception being that shaded bit at the bottom, which was supposed to be the location of a grocery store. At some point in the process (probably neighbor opposition) the developer actually flip-flopped the locations of the bank and grocery stores.

2014年7月6日 · And the Morrisville Outlet Mall was great in it's heyday as well, nice clothe for cheap! Used to like going to South Hills Mall when it WAS still a mall, Cary VILLAGE Mall, and the old North Hills. And eating at K&W Cafeteria there. And when Durham Sporting Goods was the ONLY sporting goods store.

Upon opening, Carey Village Mall had only two anchor stores. The mall expanded in 1991 by adding three additional anchor stores and a food court. This is also when the mall was renamed Cary Towne Center. Cary Towne Center is located at the intersection of Cary Towne Boulevard, Maynard Road, and Walnut Street.

I can remember being a little girl and at the corner of Kildaire Farm Rd and Cary Parkway was an big antique barn where the Jiffy Lube currently is. Across the street used to be lots of rolling hills with cows grazing. I, too remember the Cary Village Mall and the food court in the middle ...
