The unidentified suspect shot an officer who first arrived at the scene then proceeded to shoot six more officers more, the San Antonio Police Department said.

At least four San Antonio police officers were shot after responding to a 'suicide in progress' situation in Stone Oak on Wednesday, Police Chief William McManus confirmed. Local media outlet KSAT cited a source to report that neither of the officers are in critical condition.

Criminal charges have been dropped against a woman who was shot by a San Antonio police officer after being accused of making threats against herself and three police officers. Karen Martinez, 30, was charged with two counts of terroristic threats against a police officer.
