Hello I was looking at doing the walk with my dad but he is in a wheel chair - anybody who has been can you tell me what the surface of the path is? I don’t mind about the incline I can get him up there if the wheels will be able to move along the surface. I was looking at troll cars but think they are all booked up unless I can book them on the day. He can get out to do steps if it’s just a few it’s just distance he can’t do. Thanks

Hi. We used the Troll cars as my mobility is limited. It would be an awful long way pushing a chair and I don’t know the surface on that section. As from the Troll car stop to the glacier it’s a long section again for a chair with a cinder / stone surface not conducive in my opinion for a wheel chair. Sorry not to be more positive.
